 Jennifer Logan Armstrong, LSCSW

About Jennifer:

Jennifer is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker who received her Master in Social Work from Washburn University in Topeka, KS, and her undergraduate in sociology from Biola University in Southern California. While living for 6 years in the United Kingdom, Jennifer also studied and received a certificate in Theology, and through the British Association of Counsellors received a certificate in Counseling.

Jennifer is a EMDRIA certified EMDR Therapist and Approved Consultant. She also is a SEP which is a Somatic Experiencing ® Practitioner which is a training done through Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute ®. Jennifer also has done advanced trainings in attachment theory, addictions, dissociation and interpersonal neurobiology. She desires to help her clients find relief from anxiety, depression, traumatic events and break free from destructive patterns.

Through this work she hopes to increase resiliency and enhance healthy relationships. As a single mother over the past 15 years, she has walked with her daughters through difficult struggles, including living the last several years with a daughter with a severe neuro-immune/autoimmune disorder (PANDAS/PANS-where antibodies attack the healthy joints/organs including the brain). She understands the suffering and pain that comes with broken relationships, parenting alone, and struggling through the many phases of life.

In addition to her role as a therapist, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her daughters, reading and learning, and dreaming of traveling the world!  Many of the photos you see throughout this website were taken by Jennifer or eldest daughter on their travels.
